I use an HTC slider phone upgraded to wm6. It's an older phone so the fact that MLO does not hog resources is great for me. Other than that I guess it would depend on what you are looking for in a phone. I chose a windows based phone because I was hooked on outlook at the time and it was the easiest to sync with. Most other phones used some sort of translating software that was limited in its features (like palm's limit of 15 categories). I like the iphone simply because the user interface makes it so much easier to enter information on the fly. The windows interface will have you pulling out your stylus to enter the most basic information. (There are some great tools to change the interface like SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 - although the basic functions are still microscopic and require the stylus). I am hoping that the next release of Windows mobile includes a better interface otherwise I'm going for the iPhone.
Not very familiar with blackberry but the people I know that have the newer ones seem to like it. Chjeck out CNet.com, they usually have pretty good editor and user reviews.
