Hi Richard,

If I correctly understand what you need, it is easy. Select all the
tasks you want to complete in to-do view and then go (without clicking
in the view) into tree view. Here you should see all the selected
tasks. Now right-click on one of the selected task and choose Advanced
- Complete task with all subtasks. Done (at least in my version).

The only problem would be if you would like to complete only parent
task without its subtask. But it should be very rarely the case.
