Hi Chuck,

Yes I understand the issue.

However simple not allowing selecting folders or other tasks in the
dialog will not solve the problem. User can select regular task for
dependency and later convert it to task which cannot be completed or
placed on To-Do (set folder, Hide Branch In ToDo, Drag&Drop it to
other hidden branch, make it parent for the current task, set
dependency which circularly depend again on the current task, assign
"always closed" context etc etc etc). As you know if you give people a
knife they can cut a finger :)

The only thing I see reasonable now is to indicate in the dependency
list that the current task cannot be completed for some of the listed
reasons. Say paint it red and show a hint why MLO set this warning.
What do you think on this?

I have changed the dialog caption to "Select tasks on which the
current task depends" - thanks!

I will consider adding indicator that the task is added to dependency
of other tasks. It is not trivial since I need to monitor when
dependency added/removed for any task and update this state.

Andrey.
