With the manual sort, is there any way to have only the tasks we
manually move to be on "manual" sort? It would be nice if the
secondary sort could be set to what had been the primary sort,
before, etc. Or even keep it around so that it can be used to
smartly put the task in the right place when the user doesn't choose
a location.
Right now, if I add a task in the outline view or by dropping onto a
"Flag" grouping in my Flagged Tasks todo list, and the todo list is
in manual mode, it ALWAYS adds it at the end. I'd like it to sort
alphabetically *unless* I've dragged the task somewhere else.
I'm not sure how useful manual sorting is if I have to do *all* of
the sorting by hand - it won't let me set the secondary sort criteria myself.
So my first preference would be that my sort criteria would be
"shifted down" in the sort box, and allowed to be secondary/etc criteria.
My second preference (easier to implement) would be as someone else
suggested - have a "Manual Sort?" checkbox that grays out the sort
criteria, but leaves them in the box for future use. This wouldn't
require changing how the feature works, just how the UI presents it.
