Depending on the filters you use, a recurring task will appear in the
ToDo view the same as any other, non-recurring, task.

Recurring tasks can be included (or excluded) in the ToDo view by
exception via the Advanced Filtering option. "Recurrence" is listed in
the available criteria for filtering.

If you are asking to see all future instances of a recurring task
(like a calendar) then this isn't possible using the Recurrence
function as only the current active task exists. Future tasks are only
created when the active task is completed/skipped and even then it
would only be the next instance in the recurrence pattern. You would
have to manually create multiple future tasks without using the
Recurrence function if this is what you want.
