+1 for me. Actually +100 for me. I find that not all my time needs to be managed in GTD mode. When I am not in that mode, I would still like to know how my time has been spent. I also considered abstract spoon for this reason - was very torn.
Would like to add an implementation idea as well. Time reporting could be done on contexts to implement something like the Covey type system of understanding where you are spending your time. Users could create a set of "Time Accounting" contexts and: a) only assign them to relevant tasks, b) when reporting, identify which contexts should be considered "Time Accounting" contexts (so they don't have to be a new class of contexts - just regular ones). If I could then simply charge time to a task, it would handle the First Things First tracking needs and may also be helpful for project billing if done correctly.
