Last may I started to get introduce myself in the the GTD methodoloy of David Allen, but then I needed a reliable system to structure my items and create easy view. In that period I tried some software and collected all my items. Not happy with the tools I used eventually I found MLO.
It really fits to my needs and although I used a GTD template from the beginning I tried to solve of the structuring with the tree structure. However the better I understood MLO the simpler the tree could be and the more you can solve with contexts. In opposite of a few other tools this one is reliable and very multifunctional. To put all your topics and items to a system, for both profession and privat live you really have to trust it. Then you can really relax. To help me keep my content I store it also in the Cloud. I am really happy with that facility. I almost use every feature of the programme except for the prioritising part (yet). Although I think it is very powerful as well, but I expect to grow to it gradually. The customisable views are one of the best features in my opinion. I manage a software development department with a lot of projects and people. Collecting true time al the (non) direct issues and items in MLO and tag them with a persons name I can print my meeting agenda in a second. I never lose a topic in that way and it saves me a lot op preparation time. Every now and then I discover new possibilities. Also the autoformatting of the entries is helpfull and I use them for my monthly reporting as well as for highlighting topics based on user defined rules. Love that one too. I am very pleased about the service so far. Questions get very fast and clear replies. Looking forward now to the Andriod version. Great job Andrey and thanks for this really useful tooling. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
