Ok, not what you asked for but you can use a different font for active and non-active tasks and folders. I use Arial for the active tasks and Courier new (a much lighter font) for hidden and future tasks. The non-current tasks do not disappear but they do move into the background in the outline view. You could add a rule for "empty folders" to do something similar
--- Tools -> Options: Automatic formatting ---- Add Rule name: future Condition: start date time after now Format: Font - courier new --- Add Rule name: Hidden Condition: not isfolder and HiddeinToDo Format: Font - courier new --- You could add the following. Add Rule name: Empty Folder Condition: isFolder And Has subtasks false Format: Font - courier new On Tue, Jan 4, 2011 at 11:26 PM, Rose Ha <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi can anyone tell me if theres a way to hide folders?
