Hi Peter,

I think if you want a MYN template, perhaps a better option would be to have
us help you how to implement the use model you want inside MLO, and play
with it for a while, so you (who know the system) can decide the best way to
have the template work and submit it for inclusion in MLO. Having someone
that doesn't really understand a methodology and has never worked with it,
create a template might not make you very happy :)

The reason I say this is that there are lots of features in MLO that could
be used to support this, and they have different advantages / disadvantages
and only someone familiar with the system will know which fit best. You can
use tree structure, start/due, goals, starred, contexts, flags, custom
views, etc.

Don't limit yourself to the active actions list at all. It is very easy to
create views that show tasks that really start tomorrow, for example on your
OTH list.

Have you discovered how to create new views and create advanced criteria for
your views, yet? I would suggest you create a separate view (at least for
now) for a couple of your different categories. So you might specify
something like, "Context contains XXX AND start-date is less than one
week".

When you create a new view, look at the differences between Active,
Available, and All. I often start new views with "All", then add criteria
to exclude Folders, completed tasks, etc.

I would suggest you consider how Contexts (which are very customizable)
might help. Flags might be another thing to consider, though they are not
on Android if that makes a difference. How you structure the tree is
another choice that has an impact. Starred is nice for narrowing the field
quickly/on the fly. Goals can be used as just another feature, so for
example Monthly goal could be used to mean something a little different than
month, though if you were distributing the template to others it could feel
kludgy.

Then whichever of these features you use, you can create a view to filter
down to the correct set of tasks.

One thing that might be an issue, is that I don't think templates include a
new set of customized views....but if they don't that would be a great
feature request.

Play with it and ask lots of questions :)
