Hi -- MLO looks like everything I've been looking for, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat, except for one problem. I can't get WiFi Sync to work -- more specifically, I can't get the Windows App to ask for the PIN supplied by my phone.
Environment: the computer is a Lenovo W520; Windows 7 Pro 64 bit fully updated; 16GB RAM; i7 Quad CPU; The phone is an HTC (Sprint) EVO 4G, Android 2.3.3. I've tried completely uninstalling / reinstalling MLO (3.6.1 trial), turning off the firewall entirely, trying to determine if there's a TCP port conflict with another app, ... Nothing I do will cause the PIN prompt to appear on the PC. Frustratingly, it works fine on an old netbook I have, also running Win 7 PRO, though 32 bit version. Unfortunately, it's not practical to carry 2 computers just to run and sync MLO :>) I'm curious if there are any unwritten tricks to try, or if I should just give up? The killer feature of the app for me is multi-level task hierarchy with synchronization between mobile and laptop. The cloud sync looks ok, but I'm not willing to commint my workflow to yet- another-resource that I don't control. Bitter experience has taught me that even the most reliable and well-run external resources can disappear suddenly and with warning... Thanks very much, and it looks like a wonderful app -- if only I can make it work in my environment. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
