Hi, Floyd. I'm not sure if this is relevant to what you are asking, but here is something I do.
I have a task called "weekly routine" which unsurprisingly reoccurs every week. There are a couple dozen subtasks. One of them is "check oil tank." Every week I see how much oil is in my tank then I edit the note for the check oil tank task and at the top of the note I enter the date and the amount of oil. The weekly task is set to regenerate ask subtasks when it reoccurs, and the contents of the note are preserved through the regeneration. So if I open the check oil tank task right now I will see that it is active/uncompleted, and the note will show me a history of how much oil I had, week by week back to when I started this task. I set up an initial task and set it to recur every week on Sunday. When the first recurrence hits, I don't see where I would put "notes/thoughts/concerns" to update that week's task?
