Hi, DG. I don't know how to do anything that accumulates estimated effort across multiple subtasks except for the project status bar, Maybe the project status bar would help you.
If I wanted to do this I would build a view that filtered for active uncompleted tasks and subtasks and then showed them together with parent hierarchy. This way, any project that shows up is a project that has active uncompleted tasks. In order to put together a sample I would need to know more about the shape of the hierarchy above the project. Are the projects at the root or are they in folder(s)? What does the structure look like from the project up to the root? It would be sufficient to see an icon next to the name of a project, section, or subsection with incomplete tasks. However a nice touch would be to see the total estimated effort as an alternative. I've had a look around V4.0 but can't see that this is available there. TIA DG -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
