Hi Dave,

If the tree node is closed when you drag and drop, the task will go to the
end. I thought that hitting alt-Ins would do the same thing, but
apparently it doesn't. Does anyone know if this is a change from previous
versions? As a workaround, you can select the last sub task and hit insert
to add another task right after it. But I agree, the default should be the
end of the list.

For your second request, here's a trick you can use. To add a new task
dependent on the current task, you can make the new task a sub task of the
one that is dependent on. The parent will become active as soon as the sub
task is completed. Sometimes it seems a little backwards but if you get in
the habit of titling your parents task to be the finish/ cleanup task, it
works quite nicely. so, for example:

buy groceries
   make a shopping list

When " make a shopping list" is completed, "buy groceries" will become
active.
