natG's answer is better, but I wanted to share what I do. I actually use start and end dates on just about everything in order to allow myself to setup recurring tasks that appear, for example, 4 days later. But, since not every due date actually means it is DUE, I have a context "@DueDate" to know that those items actually have a set time they MUST be done. Not sure if that helps.
