David, there's no free trial period for MLO cloud sync.  The shortest chunk of 
time you can buy costs about $3US. 

The most frequent enhancement request for tasks-by-email is for optional 
parsing of the email subject to extract coded dates,  contexts,  importance and 
urgency,  etc.
