I just tried this and I'm not seeing the behavior that you are. What I'm seeing is that views are shared between workspaces unless they are modified, in which case there will be a star by their name. When I saved by changes to my test view, the changes immediately were propagated to another workspace using that view. I'm guessing that you have modified the code view in the workspace that doesn't update, even if you didn't mean to. Is there an asterisk next to its view name in the bar?
