I am currently testing the software for windows and before purchase, would like to ask for advise. Many of my tasks can't be closed on the due date, so I would like to be able to add an update with a date to record why this task was not completed and to keep a track of changes. So basically, I am waiting for somebody to do something by X date, but the response from that person on due date doesn't allow me to close the task now (he could not complete his work), so I want to be able to add a note that the original completion date was on X, but for whatever reason it was not completed and I need to check it again on Y date. So far I've been adding info to the description field, but this is not always very clear and doesn't give a very good history of task changes / updates.
Second idea is a % of completion. I can't seem to find it except project, however it looks like this cannot be adjusted manually, only based on completion of tasks within that project.
