One more workaround suggestion. "Assignee" or "Contact" was a field I used
in Bonsai and I missed it when I switched to MLO. However, the search
function, or the inline text search/filter on the iPad, has got so powerful
that I'm happy to use a different method:

When I delegate a task, or need to contact someone about it, I hashtag
their name at the top of the note field. Actually I use a ?, but any tag
will do - ?Mark, ?John, or #Mark, #John, etc. When I'm talking to Mark,
for example, I then quickly type #Mark into the serach field and "hey
presto!", all of the tasks relevant to Mark come up in a list in the
results. It works really well for me and might help you too.
