Thanks. Ok new problem. I put things into the future quite a lot e.g. using hotkey "Alt/S" followed by "2H" so that it disappears for 2 hours.
That aspect of what it means to be "Active" was helpful for me. But now with "All" actions showing these tasks are not disappearing. In Advanced rules I already have "Starred is true" so I added AND "StartDateTime" - "on or before" - "now", however the result is that items that do now have a Start Date set are removed! (Fwiw, "now" appears to be undocumented... but seems to work ) What I need is "Starred is true" AND ( "StartDateTime" - "on or before" - "now", OR "StartDateTime" - "does not exist" ) However I can't work out how to put the brackets in !
