but i dont think that you should describe the problem as involving impermanence of imported views. The spec for the imported view calls for sort by caption which is correct. But the resulting view does not appear to be complying with the spec. I would describe the problem as "sort by caption not working correctly in hierarchical view." If Support helps you fix this could you let me know, in case i am researching it i would be able to stop. Also, it would be helpful if you could provide a view of the tree expanded. One hypothesis eould involve checking if some level below the folders is sorted correctly.
