Hi Everyone, I came across this question and perhaps this might help.
The question: On Friday, April 25, 2014 at 4:49:42 AM UTC-7, Oliver wrote: > > How can I create a task in a context that comes up with a location based > reminder in more than one location? > > Examples would be something like grocery stores, DIY stores, post offices > etc. > > I would like to create a task like "Post important letter" and assign it > to the context "Post Office". > > Then have MLO notify me when I am near any of the five post offices that > are near my home or office. > > Can this be achieved? If yes, how? > Here is my thought I create these Contexts: !PO New York City !PO New York State - Near our house !PO Singapore, Downtown All the above have locations set in each context's property Location tab. I added this context: !PO All Post Offices (which includes each of the above) I make a task: Mail important letter. assigned the task with contexts: !PO New York City !PO Singapore, Downtown So now if I am in NY or Singapore I will get a Location Notification. My View "Errands" has the General Filter: Contexts set to !PO All Post Offices Group by Contexts The "Errands" View shows the task "Mail important letter" in both NY and Singapore. The Location Alert will fire when near either place. Completing the task "Mail important letter" will complete for both locations - normal MLO function. See attached pictures.
