You're right, Christoph.  I've just tried it and I can change the hotkeys, 
but the action is wrong.  Ctrl+Alt+1 opens the first sub-level of the 
branch I have selected, rather than opening everything to level 1.  I'll 
post it as a bug report for the development version.
