Sorry, I am confused by this conversation. Ms. Boats wrote "any new entries will not exist on both sides" - This sounds to me, more like a discussion of new tasks added to one side and not the other, as opposed to new views created on one side but not the other. I believe that some users, possibly including Ms. Boats, have the mistaken impression that if views are not synched they will become out-of-date snapshots.

In order tro clarify this, I would suggest:
If you are using either cloud sync or IP sync, all tasks, projects and folders will be synched. If you add or change any task on one side it will be synched to the other side.

If you have invented a new view, for example "due tomorrow" and you copy it to all your platforms and you are synching your TASKS, then your views should stay pretty well synchronized. For example, if you add a new task that's dur tomorrow it will show up iin your "due tomorrow" view. If your tasks get synched, then the new task will show up on your other device, where it will also immediately show up in the Due Tomorrow view. You don't need to synch the view to accomplish this.

Where view synchronization comes in handy would be if you change the view definition. For example, suppose you change "due tomorrow" to "due on or before tomorrow" then any tasks due today and any overdue tasks will immediately be added to the view. But on your other device, the view is still "due tomorrow" and it will not show tasks due today.

The good news is that once a new user has a chance to work out the views that he or she needs, there is usually not a lot of changes to view definitions. And when there is a change, it is a pretty simple matter to copy it over to the other device.

There is no possibility to sync view in MLO now. We do not plan to add automated views sync via cloud in the nearest future. However, we are considering alternatives that would allow to easily update views on all devices. In the meanwhile, use the following guide to transfer views from PC to mobile and back: https://www.mylifeorganized.net/support/export-custom-views-from-desktop-to-mobile-ios/ (for iOS) and https://www.mylifeorganized.net/support/export-custom-views-from-desktop-to-mobile-android/ (for Android). You may use third party cloud storage (like Dropbox of Google Drive) that is accessible from both platforms. You may create a folder called "MLO Views" and store all your views there and update them there to avoid different versions of the view.

    Hello Lisa,
Yes, the file can be exported and imported, but it is not truly
syncd in that any new entries will not exist on both sides,
accurate? It is a one time upload "as is" until imported / exported
from both desktop and mobile again? If addurate, this could become
VERY confusing as there would be two versions of the same view, or
are they syncd if using the MLO cloud, but only under the
circumstance that one DOES pay for the MLOCloud?

    Thank you

unfortunately, no. However you can export them, put them on a
        thumb drive, and import them.

Most of the time I use my work PC and Android phone but
was frustrated tonight on my home PC because the views I set
up at work are not sync'ed to my home PC.  Is it possible to
            sync views with MLO cloud?
