  I am not sure the best way to handle this coz i didn't really look
into/using this myself.

  I thought of using MLO as part of my notebooks as well since i believe
having everything in 1 place is easier for me. But so far, i am using
Folder to put in simple notes or reference & marked it with a 'note' Flag.
then, i created a view to show all my 'notes' (i think i have only 2 to 3
notes only now).

  As for archiving, maybe you need to 'close' the project manually by going
through all the completed tasks and extract valuable information and store
some where else? like another 'note' branch in MLO or in other software/app
like Evernote/Onenote?
