1 of the way i use MLO is to track the freelance job.
When I have finished the jobbut still waiting for payment, i would not want
to CHECK it off as done. coz i might forget to follow up if i check it off.
So, instead, I add some "tags" or "symbols" to the task, like ✓ or [ ✓done
Task name when project is active =
Draw storyboard for project X Client Z
Task name when project is done but waiting for payment with waiting for
✓ Draw storyboard for project X Client Z
this way, by looking at the project/task name, i know the project is done &
i am waiting for payment.
i also have a CONTEXT call "WFP: Waiting For Payment" separate from "WF:
so, it is not confusing when i looked at them. :-)
Hope this is helpful.
