Hello PBD,
Thanks for the link Christoph,
Welcome back Dwight!

I've had a look through your blog. A lot of what you said chimes with me,
PBD.

I use folders in MLO to group by Areas (Work, Personal, Home, Community),
then by role (electrical engineer, functional safety engineer, dad, home
finances, home maintenance) and finally by project / sub-project.
I use stars in the same way as you.
I use contexts for GTD @contexts.
I use flags to highlight Roles and Goals.
I tag projects as Projects.
I use folders for storing some project information, contact names, etc -
although now I'm moving to OneNote for all that.
I use due dates as the final deadline date for a task.

That's about all the task metadata I use. I'm trying to minimise the amount
of clicks I have to do to enter or manage a task. The above already has me
spending too much time entering and managing tasks, rather than doing them.

Just thought that might be of interest, for comparison with what you do.

Keep blogging...

Stéphane
