...Which takes us back to my old request to be able to control what the 
default values are for things like this, start and due dates, context and 
flags. As, by now, you'll all know, I would like to set whether each of 
these parameters is set to a fixed value, today's date, or inherits them 
from its parent or nearest sibling. Having the ability to set up the 
behaviours for all these on new tasks would save on *loads *of clicks or 
taps.

That's what I miss most about Bonsai (my old, Palm task manager)

One day, I hope that Andrey and team will provide these settings, which 
would solve a lot of requests (and conflicting requests) like the one on 
this thread.
