I have a workaround that I've implemented to accomplish this. Most of my recurring tasks are routine things I need to do to keep everything operating smoothly. I added a text tag to all these items called "Routine". When I set my daily task list, I group by Top level Folder (Personal and Work) then group by text tag. This shows the items I want to accomplish that day on the top for each area with the routine things below that. I have a number of other filters in place to limit/focus the number of things to do for that day (star, importance, weekly goal, etc.)
The only issue with this is that it doesn't work on my android since you can't do multiple groupings on the mobile app. Leigh On Wed, Jul 22, 2020 at 11:00 PM Liz <[email protected]> wrote: > is there a way to have recurring tasks show up at the bottom of my to do > list when it is time for them to recur? i keep having the same few things > appear at the top and don't always make it through my list. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MyLifeOrganized" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > To view this discussion on the web visit > https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/mylifeorganized/5efb023c-8523-4c4e-b452-cbe6910dabfeo%40googlegroups.com > <https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/mylifeorganized/5efb023c-8523-4c4e-b452-cbe6910dabfeo%40googlegroups.com?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer> > . > -- Respectfully, Leigh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
