I do agree that an API would have great benefits - and that it would 
benefit MLO by making sure their app stays relevant, by being able to 
linking it to other data, time trackers, note taking apps, etc. I feel 
imajeff's pain regarding the need to manually set so many properties - 
User-selected automation of task properties one of my (overly-repeated) 
requests that the development team have decided against prioritising, sadly.
