It looks like you did not open the backup file with views, or did not export it properly.
To export tap "Multiselect"-> select the views -> Export (see scr1). Save it to files or send to yourself via a messenger. When you need to restore these views, open this file -> select "Open in MLO 3". This will take you to the currently open profile in MLO and show the import dialog (scr2).
