Currently, it is possible to set recurrance to a task and than change the task to a folder. The recurrance reset of such folder can still be triggered from children task.
This is very useful for scenarios, where a type of activity (parent) - i.e. cardio exercise, should be done with certain frequency (every third day) and this is accomplised via specific activities (children), that occur with different higher frequencies - i.e. run every 10th day, swim every 10th day, bike every 10th day..... In this scenario, it is really useful to have the parent set as folder, because I want that parent only to be restarted via a subtask restart, not via manual restart. And here comes the problem - when a recurrig folder is restarted via a subtask, it automatically changes from a folder back to a task! Although I kind of understand the rationallate of where this is coming from, I think it's undersirable from a user perspective (I mean, what would be a use case for this?) and it would be preferable for the folder to remain folder if the user set it so, even though recurrance of folders might not make much sense at the first sight. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
