If I understand your situations correctly I believe I am experiencing the 
same thing. If I am working on a task at the end of a long list of filtered 
tasks, when I commit/save the change on that task at the bottom of my list 
the focus of my list jumps to the top of the list and I have to scroll back 
down to the bottome. This is very annoying if I am processing my filtered 
list from the bottom up - really makes it impractical (I suppose I could 
reverse sort it!). This was not an issue until 5.2.

MLO is an amazing piece of software, thank you MLO team for your excellent 
work and keen insight to creating such a versatile platform!
