Hi Alexander, I stumbled upon this while trying to get my install of MLO working on Linux under the Steam Proton 9 runtime (which is based on Wine). The really key thing I found was installing msxml6 via Winetricks (protontricks in my case). Once I had installed msxml6 through Winetricks it worked perfectly.
