Thanks for the reply!
I did think that the problem is also with other GTK apps, so I tested gimp.
indeed, it didn't work. However I decided to change the Wacom pen
configuration from "Erasing DuoSwitch" to the standard "Erasing UltraPen", In
this case it did work
on Gimp, Alas still not working on MyPaint.
I Know that Wacom ArtZ is rather old, but it works fine on other software.
I actually just ordered Bamboo as a workaround...
