I am have tried MyPaint 8.2, and it works!
I think you can close the bug.
thanks a lot for all the work you do.
By the way, I don't know if its the correct behavior but it works only on
"screen" input mode.
In "disabled" mode it does not work at all.
In "window" mode it paints shifted from the cursor position (and the shift
depend on the position of the canvas window, the more the window is centered
in respect to the desktop, the less the shift is)
