How does it crash?
* Fatally, it generates Windows error code 0xc0000005, which is 'Exception:
access violation'
Any error message?
* Except a message box which informs about the application failure, a log in
Windows Events is generated: Faulting application mypaint.exe, version
0.8.0.0, time stamp 0x4917df95, faulting module libglib-2.0-0.dll, version
2.20.5.0, time stamp 0x4b606a21, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset
0x0003d82b, process id 0x17f4, application start time 0x01cab0df5ddeab05.
What is the content if mypaint.exe.log after the crash?
* It contains following lines four times. However, the lines lack any time
stamp and therefore I am not able to determine whether these logs have
somthing to do with the crash. Also, when I deleted the file, it was not
recreated after the crash.

* Since I was not able to open a file or save one, the item 'Most recent
files' in the menu 'File' is empty.
