Follow-up Comment #6, bug #15419 (project mypaint):

If I follow what jonnor means, I can't reproduce the bug. Here is my test:

1. Open file "D:\doc\painting\Feb2010\hospital.ora" then save it and quit,
then rename "painting" to "paint", try start mypaint and open the newly moved
file. all fine. Recent files show the old reference but return missing file
dialog if I clicked it

2. Similar to above, but this time I bookmarked a folder then quit mypaint,
rename that folder and start mypaint again. In open dialog the missing folder
automatically removed from the bookmark menu.

It seems both case work as expected (gtk.recent and gtk.bookmark). BTW which
programs actually own your "downloads" folder? since I initially don't have
"downloads" folder, I might be wrong.
