Details:

I have a wacom Intuos 4.

The cursor (a.k.a. pen tip), eraser, and pad all all separate input devices
and it needs to be possible to set their modes independently.

I need to be able to set cursor and eraser to "screen" and the pad to
"disabled". The current settings set everything.

Without the cursor and eraser set to "screen" the pressure sensitivity will
not work. Without the pad set to "disabled" the wheel and buttons built into
the side of the pad do not function. There is currently no way to have both.
(It's nice to be able to use the pad's wheel to zoom in and out while
drawing)

See inkscape's input config for reference. They allow you to set the devices
modes individually.
