Details:
I wish that when drawing in very low contrast I wouldn't get all these
'contours' and I end up drawing and pulling and pushing these contours around
instead of the smooth gradients that I now have to imagine I'm drawing.
One suggestion to fix it is just to have a random pixel alternator and based
on the weight between the pixels have more or less of one color on the spot.
Also, Gimp's gradients have worked around this inconvenience, so you might
want to check them out.
I'm not sure if you'll be able to see them on your monitor, but I've attached
an example file where there are quite visible.
Thanks and if you can look into this it would take away the dread of working
with soft brushes.
