Follow-up Comment #17, bug #16253 (project mypaint):
That your tablet is given as GDK_SOURCE_MOUSE sounds like a bug to me too.
Please file with GTK.
That other applications which uses the same toolkit works, often indicates
that it is the application that is at fault, but it is not always the case
(and visa versa).
