Follow-up Comment #1:
I definitely see the benefit, especially for advanced users. The only reason
I see for not having flipping around cursor as the default is that most
applications flips around the view-port.
If we introduce a setting, it should only be
"Mirror around: Center|Cursor". Splitting it up yields no benefit.
