Summary: error thumbnails => freedesktop.org
thumbnail is not saved except for when previewed in open file dialog

Follow-up Comment #3:
Confirmed, we only save the thumbnail when showing a thumbnail in the open
file dialog, not when saving/loading files in general.
The relevant code is in lib/helpers.py (get/save_freedesktop_thumbnail) and
gui/filehandling.py (update_preview_cb)
