Follow-up Comment #3, bug #17650 (project mypaint):
I get a wait cursor when saving either way under Debian with KDE, but only if
the cursor is over the painting area. Putting the cursor over any other part
of the UI (layers, brush selection, etc.) gives a standard cursor.
Could that be what's happening?
