Follow-up Comment #5, bug #17800 (project mypaint):
We already have four distinct ways of statefully assigning brushes to various
things in the UI: the 0-9 brush keys, different styluses and their eraser
ends, the brush palette, and the strokemap that gets saved in ORA files. It's
complicated enough to manage the number of different places a stashed brush
can reside already. I'm with Martin on this concept being overly complex.
