Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18090 (project mypaint): Thanks for the fast reply.
Indeed, when I disable pressure sensitivity, painting works as expected. So, it would seem that my device simply doesn't properly send pressure information. I've followed up on this elsewhere (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774891). FWIW: GIMP doesn't work with pressure sensitivity, either (though it's not enabled by default, as is the case for MyPaint). The output of MyPaint during startup is: builtin python 2.6 json support confpath = /home/stefan/.mypaint/ Setting screen mode for "AsusTek, Inc. MultiTouch(TTI)" device change: Core Pointer <enum GDK_SOURCE_MOUSE of type GdkInputSource> (I'm not sure why it registers as GDK_SOURCE_MOUSE, but from searching this database this seems to happen for a few other devices as well) Thanks a lot, anyway, as I can now finally use this great program! Please close this as invalid (I don't seem to be able to do it myself), since apparently it's not a MyPaint issue - sorry for the noise. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?18090> _______________________________________________ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Mypaint-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/mypaint-bugs
