Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18377 (project mypaint):
Hi Ben - didn't realise you had a new feature branch feature/scratchpad out
so I accidentally reduplicated some work, including adding an icon and a
toolbar entry :) Oh well. Could you let me know if there's anything on the
beno-palette branch at
https://gitorious.org/~achadwick/achadwick-mypaint#more that you think's work
keeping before I blow it away? I prefer your icon, BTW :)
I think it's time to begin work on integrating your code into master. The
tool is looking good, and you're addressing the rough edges.
How do you want to go ahead with this when you're ready? In the past we've
generally integrated new features into master as a chain of clean patches from
something rebased against master so they can be fast forwarded on top of it,
and we tend not to retain merges as a result. It keeps all the related changes
together, which results in a cleaner reading history.
When you're good to go would you be OK with uploading interactively rebased
branches containing your changes at the tip to Gitorious and using the Merge
Request tool for a code review?
