Follow-up Comment #1, bug #18450 (project mypaint):
I included a similar brush that blends on low pressure and lays down color at
high. It too should be completely alpha-locked at low pressure, but is
seemingly broken. I forgot to include it's description in the main post.
That's about as specific as I can be on this. If you have any questions, just
ask.
