Details:

Since MyPaint's brushstrokes are stored in some kind of vector format, it
seems like it might be easy to transfer this information over some network
protocol, and then render it on the other end, thus requiring no transfer of
bitmap information. Has anyone thought of doing this? It'd be something like
inkboard or inkscape (which was abandoned), and could work over XMPP.

I've looked around, and there aren't many decent packages that will do
anything like this. There are some web-based ones like
http://www.scriblink.com/ but they're mostly pretty limited. The ability to
use brush pressure and different brush styles would be extremely cool, and
unique in a network whiteboard tool.
