Follow-up Comment #6, bug #19119 (project mypaint):
That last patch works.
The only last _issue_ it would seem is that it doesn't automatically build
for whatever version of python is the _current_ version of python on my Mac.
For example, if I set python to macports python 2.6, it still automatically
tries to build for python 2.7
