Follow-up Comment #2, bug #19132 (project mypaint): Thanks for working on frame , I abuse of them.
This grey mid alpha overlay is making me mad most of the time. I would prefer for most artwork it to be 0% alpha, because it's not help me to see my painting strokes out of the canvas darkened. It's tricking my eyes and makes me do weird things about composition , values or tilted perspective. Here I still would like to can setup the frame in the preferences to obtain frame variations like this depending on the project I work : http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5157/mypaintframe.jpg I would imagine a part in the preferences like this : http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/6150/20120112screenshot01.jpg Next month I have to draw the storyboard for the Mango project in Amsterdam, and I want to abuse of Mypaint 'save as scrap' + a a desktop batch file renamer + 'next & previous' option to create a workflow about it ; having the cinema format for the filesize rounded to 64px is not a major problem ( even if it makes my full workflow rounded to 64px only for Mypaint ) , but having the display of strokes outside the canvas frame is really something annoying I would like to be fixed. I'm also ok if you know the value in the code for turning it to 0% alpha as a workaround. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?19132> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Mypaint-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/mypaint-bugs
